Lumina Solar PA comprehends these unique intricacies and the silent sabotage that weather condition and wear can cause on your system.

Insider Tips for Peak Efficiency

Seasonal shifts here in Chester County Pennsylvania bring more than just changing leaves; they welcome moisture and particles that can penetrate even the most well-installed arrays. 1. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by Tracy Graf: Lumina did a very professional and quick job on our installation. There were no issues, and all the workmen were efficient and friendly. We are eager to have the system up and running!
  2. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by Matthew Cawthorne: I was really excited with the idea of getting a rooftop PV system, and Lumina had really good reviews. Their price was nearly identical to another very highly rated company in my area and I liked the look of the REC panels so we went with Lumina. During the initial sizing I proposed a symmetric configuration that was pleasing to the eye and was told 'we can discuss the exact configuration during the engineering phase'. Well, I was never contacted until all of the approvals were complete and at that point it was too late to get the configuration that I wanted. The Lumina configuration was unsymmetric and had 1 fewer panel on the highly productive south facing roof. It was not the end of the world, but I take pride in the aesthetics of my house. In the end I was able to get them to make it symmetric, but with the one less panel in the good orientation. The biggest problem, however is that the panels on the front of the house are in a nearly ideal orientation, facing almost south, and with a roof pitch that is good for this latitude. The 400+ watt panels are oriented well enough that they should be able to generate close to 400 watts during the middle of the day (cloud cover permitting). Lumina specified and installed 300 watt inverters so those panels never produce more than 300 watts. Instead of a sine wave for production I get a curve that is clipped flat on top. 300 watt inverters are ok for the back of the house where the sun angles are not as ideal and the panels cannot produce as much power, but not for the front. So why am I giving them 4 stars? Well, their Operations department that scheduled and performed the installation did a really good job and were a delight to work with. The workmanship is really good and everything has been functioning for the first 16 months of operation. There were no surprises in the pricing.
  3. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by Paul Schwartz: Worked with Courtney. Very helpful and akways availabke to answer questions and solve issues. Installation was very prifessional. System has been operational for 1 year and is performing to expectations.

  6. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by Lindsay: I've been working with Courtney closely for a little over a year now and she's been so incredibly supportive while I work to get my credit in order so we can start the process of switching to solar. I wouldn't go through any other company let alone anyone other than Courtney for this process. I feel very confident that I and my investment are in the best hands!
  7. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by Robert Rosenberg: We have been very happy and impressed with everything Pete Hayes and the rest of the Lumina Solar team have done. The communication and customer service have been excellent. Every step was as we discussed, on-time or ahead of schedule. The data shows that the system is running as planned. We are very happy with our decision to "go solar" with Lumina Solar
  8. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by Brian Green: Lumina Solar was one of the best companies that I have ever worked with on a home improvement project. Peter Hayes was our specialist that we dealt with from start to finish, and he was absolutely amazing to work with. I would highly recommend using these guys if you are looking at doing solar. From Peter all the way to the install crew at the day of installation they were incredibly professional, and we have zero complaints. I can not speak highly enough of everyone we dealt with at the company!
  9. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by Steve Raffensberger: Technically excellent! Workmanship and courtesy of installers was great. Logistically, less so...maybe due to my remoteness from Lumina resources. No one arrived on schedule. Coordination with local inspectors was poor.
  10. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by Lauren Kozar: I had been considering solar panels for a couple years and had spoken with various companies. Lumina solar made it clear to me that purchasing solar panels were the best option. Dealing with their sales rep Phil Jordan through to the install was a pleasure and I highly recommend them.
  • Routinely inspect installing hardware-- tighten anything that feels loose.
  • Watch for discoloration or warping on panels, signs of concealed damage.
  • Watch on inverter performance metrics; sudden drops typically mean underlying issues.
