Why Personalization Matters More Than Ever

  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in [:county] Pennsylvania by BLR: I recently had Lumina install solar panels at my residence . I want to thank Gabriel Shabtai and the team at Lumina for an excellent experience and professional job. Gabriel was attentive and helpful throughout the process. We had a tight deadline and they met it. All the staff including installers and office personnel were highly professional and proficient. I highly recommend anyone interested in having solar installed to reach to the Lumina team--you can do no better.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in [:county] Pennsylvania by Matthew Cawthorne: I was really excited with the idea of getting a rooftop PV system, and Lumina had really good reviews. Their price was nearly identical to another very highly rated company in my area and I liked the look of the REC panels so we went with Lumina. During the initial sizing I proposed a symmetric configuration that was pleasing to the eye and was told 'we can discuss the exact configuration during the engineering phase'. Well, I was never contacted until all of the approvals were complete and at that point it was too late to get the configuration that I wanted. The Lumina configuration was unsymmetric and had 1 fewer panel on the highly productive south facing roof. It was not the end of the world, but I take pride in the aesthetics of my house. In the end I was able to get them to make it symmetric, but with the one less panel in the good orientation. The biggest problem, however is that the panels on the front of the house are in a nearly ideal orientation, facing almost south, and with a roof pitch that is good for this latitude. The 400+ watt panels are oriented well enough that they should be able to generate close to 400 watts during the middle of the day (cloud cover permitting). Lumina specified and installed 300 watt inverters so those panels never produce more than 300 watts. Instead of a sine wave for production I get a curve that is clipped flat on top. 300 watt inverters are ok for the back of the house where the sun angles are not as ideal and the panels cannot produce as much power, but not for the front. So why am I giving them 4 stars? Well, their Operations department that scheduled and performed the installation did a really good job and were a delight to work with. The workmanship is really good and everything has been functioning for the first 16 months of operation. There were no surprises in the pricing.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in [:county] Pennsylvania by F A: I appreciate the company because Kurt Bradshaw is a friendly and considerate individual. He consistently demonstrates responsibility by organizing meetings, sharing comprehensive information, and making an effort to provide us with relevant details. As a result, we are satisfied with the product.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in [:county] Pennsylvania by Priscilla Brown: Jessica and Ali were absolutely amazing from start to finish. From the moment we spoke on the phone to our zoom call to set things up. They had amazing customer service. They were both extremely helpful and extremely kind. They answered every question I had honestly and made sure that it was specific to my home and my HOA. I was extremely impressed with the amount of research that they did beforehand that I asked them to do and and they followed through. They are such valuable assets to your organization. They are the reasons I chose this company.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in [:county] Pennsylvania by Jason Quattro: I had researched solar for a couple of years before finally deciding to pull the trigger. I talked to quite a few installers and got a ton of different options on panels, wattages, inverters, pricing, financing and warranties. What I really like about lumina is they do everything in house and nothing is subcontracted out. The entire process with them from start to finish was smooth and professional. They have excellent prices, use top rated panels (I chose the REC 405 watt panels) and the best warranty (30 years). I got 25 year financing and pay much less than my electric bill was. Lumina was very organized and professional every step of the way. The install was very clean and I liked how they ran the wiring through the attic and down the house tucked against the gutter so you can barely see it. Peter Hayes was fantastic and even came out to my house on the day the install was completed to check up on everything. I installed a “sense” system (one of the best purchases I have made) so I can monitor real-time consumption and production. During my first month I sent over 1100 kWh back to Peco (after factoring in consumption) and that’s with charging an electric car. The system also performed great over the rest of the year and the winter. I have banked enough kWh during the spring/summer to draw from during the lower solar production months. Now that a year has passed I am happy to report that I have produced a good bit more than I consumed so Peco will send me a check for the excess energy! If you are on the fence about solar reach out to Lumina… you will be glad you did!
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in [:county] Pennsylvania by tim brodhead: Going solar is something I’ve thought about for years and finally decided to act on it. Jevon Ciciliot, my salesman reached out to me and drove all the way up to my house to discuss further and come up with a game plan with the most efficient system possible. Jevon was polite, respectful, professional, and knowledgeable. With such a major investment, naturally there are a ton of questions. Jevon was able to answer and explain everything in a way that doesn’t make your head spin. He also presented and carried himself like a friend that I’ve known for years. Jevon was always available to answer any questions that inevitably pop up and would get back to me promptly regardless of how busy his schedule may be. Once it came time for installation, the install crew also carried themselves professionally and worked quickly. I was told it was a 2 full day job to complete but they were done in a day and a half without any mistakes. They kept me in the loop throughout the install so I always knew how things were going. And most importantly they didn’t leave any mess behind once they were done. Overall I had an excellent experience.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in [:county] Pennsylvania by Octavio R: I recently had my solar panels set up with this company and the process of getting everything approved and set up was incredibly fast and easy. Jevon Ciciliot was my sales person and he did a great job explaining how everything works. This was a great experience for me from the sales pitch all the way through the installation process.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in [:county] Pennsylvania by Carlos Ramos: Had an excellent experience with Lumina Solar. Christopher Richardson Solar Sales Consultant was most helpful in answering my questions and concerns. The installers were very professional, and the install was done in 1 day as promised. The only delays which are beyond their control is get the Electrical Service provider out quickly enough for inspection/approval to activate. Christopher is always there to answer my questions.
